Degrassi and Kevin Smith, yay!

Oh shush.

I went to the signing at the Secret Stash on June 25th, as I said before I left. I got there REALLY early. Like, 5 hours early, because when I went to the Clerks X signing I got there a couple hours early and still didn't get in until 10 at night. I also thought about not going since I've met Kevin Smith and Jason Mewes before, but when I found out Adamo would be there, I had to go. I heart Marco.

So. Since I was there so early, I was very near the front of the line. The guy behind me was really friendly, so we talked a lot. Soon enough, someone from the company (?) that releases the DVDs came around with two big bags of cookies for everyone, and a release form saying we would allow our pictures to be used on the site or whatever. Heh. So I may show up there. Cool. We also all got little surveys about the DVD releases and what we'd like to see on the 3rd season ones and such. I.. totally can't remember what I put.

I sadly had pretty much nothing for them to sign. Just the 2nd season DVDs. Some people brought TONS of stuff, random pictures and little signs and stuff. Stacey and Adamo were very nice, of course. :) Right after I got a picture with them, Adamo put his hat back on, and I said something about how that was bad timing, cause I like him in the hat. I'm a geek.

Kevin and Mewes finally showed up to sign stuff too (they were waiting because it was technically a Degrassi signing, not a.. them. Signing. Yeah.). I said hi and that because I am lame, I only brought this to sign so if they didn't want to-- and then Kevin said "No, I'll sign anything." Hee. So he signed the one with Lauren on the cover and drew a little arrow to her and wrote "Not me."

Then I stood around like a loser for a while longer, took a couple more pictures, overheard Stacey telling Mewes something about "[the guy] who plays [Adamo's] boyfriend" but could not figure out the context of such talk, and then told Stacey that they both play two of my favourite characters. Which isn't entirely true; Marco is my favourite while Ellie is not, but I didn't want to be rude. Heh. Plus, Adamo was talking to someone and didn't hear me. Sigh. That sucks.

Anyhoo, it was fun. And I uploaded the pictures, if anyone cares. I look sucktastic, but I'm wearing my VMars shirt! Heh. Plus, you get to see the pidgeon!! YAY!!
